You don't have to know where to go, what to wear, or how to pose. I'll help you plan the details before your session, guide you throughout, and make your family photos fun and authentic. If your toddler wants to run, no problem. If your shy child needs time to warm up, there will be plenty of time. If your husband hates photos, that's perfect. Your family doesn't need to fit into a specific box to work with me. I work with your family to fit your specific needs.

Where do family photography sessions take place in Murfreesboro?
Your session can take place in your home, outdoors at a location that fits your family, or in a studio when appropriate. I'll help you choose a location based on the type of photographs you want, your family's needs, and the overall experience you're hoping to create.
How long is a family photography session?
Most family sessions are approximately 45 minutes. The goal isn't to keep you in front of the camera for hours. It's to use our time intentionally while allowing enough flexibility for children to be themselves.
What if my child won't cooperate?
That's okay. I work with children, not against them. I'll use movement, play, interaction, patience, and simple direction to keep the session moving. Every child is different, so I'll adapt to what your child needs.
What should we wear for family pictures?
You don't need to figure that out alone. I'll provide styling guidance to help you coordinate your family's clothing, colors, textures, and accessories so everyone looks cohesive without looking overly matched.
How much does family photography cost?
Family photography experiences begin at $650. For families who have a need for more than one session, we have special collection options available. Regardless, payment plans are available.
What happens if it rains?
We'll reschedule your outdoor session when weather makes the planned location impractical. We'll talk through the best option based on your specific circumstances.
Do I have to book multiple sessions?
No. You can choose to book a single session if you simply want to document one meaningful moment. If you know you have several milestones ahead, there are collections available that provide an opportunity to create these upcoming milestones more intentionally.
Can we bring our pets?
Absolutely. Your pets are part of your family too, and I love incorporating dogs into family sessions when it makes sense for your family and location.
Do you offer maternity and newborn photography?
Yes. Maternity, newborn, family, six-month, first-birthday, and generational sessions can all become part of your family's ongoing photography experience.
How many photographs will we receive?
I don't believe in withholding images simply to make you choose your favorites from an arbitrary number. I edit and deliver all of the finished images from your session.
